The Moot Court Committee, Lawsymptoms is organizing its 1st Edition of the LS- NATIONAL ONLINE MOOT MEMORIAL DRAFTING COMPETITION, 2023. The Competition will take place on 20th-25th August 2023.
About Lawsymptoms
Lawsymptoms registered under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India, an organisation committed to excellence in the field of law is an online website dealing with legal research-based blog articles, Various National level Competitions, Content writing and research-based internships, Online Certificate Courses and legal consulting.
We are just 2 years old and in this short span of time, and in this short span of time, we have mentored more than 400 students through our internship programs. More than 50 students joined our online certificate moot course and approximately 150 students have participated in the first two editions of the National Essay Writing Competition.
Our mission is to inculcate the nuances of a lawyer into law students by giving them various opportunities through internship programs, national-level competitions such as these and online certificate courses.
We are a team of 20 members as of now with a hope to grow further up to 50 by 2025, we are a future premier coaching institute, an established law firm & much more. “Serving the Needs” is our only motto and we are working for it.
About the Moot Memorial Drafting Competition
Administration
Lawsymptoms shall administer the LS National Online Moot Memorial Drafting Competition, 2023.
The Competition is scheduled for online format between the 20th and 25th of August 2023.
Harsh Gupta, Founder, Lawsymptoms shall be the National Coordinator of the Competition.
Eligibility
The Competition is open to students currently enrolled in LL.B. Degree Courses (3 year/5 year) or LLM Postgraduate Degree Courses.
A team is not permitted to have members from more than one institution.
No more than two teams may represent an institution.
Team Composition
Each team shall comprise of a minimum of one member and Teams may comprise of a maximum of three members.
The substitution of any Team Member is not allowed after the registration deadline except in extenuating circumstances and only with permission of the organizers.
Registration
Interested teams are required to register for the Competition by filling out the registration form. The link to the form is here.
Prior payment of Registration Fees is required in order to fill out the Final Registration Form.
The last date for completion of all the registration formalities is before 10th August 2023 (11:59 P.M. IST)
Payment of Registration Fees
All the teams shall be required to make a payment via online bank transfer in order to register for the competition. Details of the same must also be attached in the registration form.

Rs. 1600 FOR TEAM CONSISTING OF TWO PARTICIPANTS
Rs. 2100 FOR TEAM CONSISTING OF THREE PARTICIPANTS

Awards
Winning Team Award: The winning team will receive a trophy and cash prize of 5000 INR.
Runners-Up Team Award: The runners-up team will receive a trophy and cash prize of INR 3500 INR.
Overall score of both memorials shall be considered for the result declaration.
The team with the Best Memorial-Petitioner(s) will receive a certificate of Excellence.
The team with the Best Memorial-Respondent(s) will receive a certificate of Excellence.
All participating teams will be provided with a certificate of participation or a certificate of merit, in accordance with the performance of the team.
