The Delhi High Court has mandated hybrid hearings in all District Courts in the national capital.
The Delhi High Court issued an office order on Monday directing district courts in the national capital to enable hybrid hearings of cases.
This means that plaintiffs and attorneys can appear in court through video conference or in person without previous notice.
Until now, counsel/parties could only appear in court by physically being present.
They previously had to make a formal request in writing or through email at least a day before the proceedings to appear via video conference,this will no longer be the case.
